Trust-Mart is a foreign-owned hypermarket enterprise which has
been authorized by China’s Ministry of Commerce to operate
nationwide. Founded in August 1997, Trust-Mart has
been growing rapidly; operates more than 100 hypermarket stores;
has over 550,000 square meters of selling area and carries more
than 20,000 SKUs. Trust-Mart has more than 35,000 employees.
Today, Trust-Mart is the largest hypermarket operator (by store)
in China, and its 2005 revenue has reached RMB12 billions.
Trust-Mart currently operates in 34 cities across 16 provinces and
municipalities nationwide, and this represents one of the widest
