欧姆龙在中国的投资
　　欧姆龙公司与中国的渊源可以追溯到30年以前，创始人立石一真先生在世时曾就任国贸促京都总局副会长，并作为经济界代表开始了与中国各界的交流与合作。从1980年继电器的委托加工贸易开始不断发展，1991年，在大连设立了第一家制造健康医疗设备的工厂——欧姆龙（大连）有限公司；1994年，更作为第一家日本电子制造企业，被国家有关部门批准成立了投资性公司——欧姆龙（中国）有限公司；1996年，在上海浦东建造了3家生产工业自动化系统设备，控制设备元件的工厂，到目前为止，共设立独资，合资工厂，公司22家（包括香港、台湾地区），从业人员达到约4500人以上，截止到2001年底，年度生产及销售额为约500亿日圆，比1999年增长了约35%。

Investment in China
The cooperation between Omron and China can be traced back to 30 years ago when Mr.Kazuma Tateisi, the founder of Omron Corporation, served as the Vice Chairman of Japanese Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Kyoto General Office. As the representative selected from Japanese economic community, he initiated the exchange and cooperation with China, omron started its business in China with relay processing trade in 1980. In 1991, Omron set up its first factory in China-Omron (Dalian) Co., Ltd. –producing healthcare products. In 1994, as a Japanese electronic manufacturer, Omron was the first to get approved to set up wholly-owned investment company-Omron(China) Co., Ltd. In 1996, Omron opened 3 factories in Pudong Shanghai, producting industrial automation system and electronic components. To date, with more than 4500 employees, Omron has registered 21 wholly-owned or joint venture enterprises in China, including Hong Kong and Taiwan. As of the end of 2001, the annual production and sales volume reached approximately 50 billion yen, which is 35% higher than in 1999.
